I see the light
faintly sparkling
shining glimmering
amidst the darkness there

I stand unmoving
stifled miffed
unknowing bowing
looking to my feet

shall this journey
of faith, hope and glory
fall short of fame
the simple but fundamental
pursuits of peace
will be denied
