All the elements of a good dream:

Nice girl
Good company
Big adventure
Some chivalry
Happy ending

I'd love to remain the protagonist of that splendid dream.
The truth is, it all ends when you wake up
No matter how much you want to go back to sleep
Or try to pretend to be.

The real elements of everyday living:

Why is beryllium oxide acidic/amphoteric
Why are sieve tube elements devoid of nuclei and vacuoles
Elements of a set, function
(not quite hitting on that funny bone?)

Well, to me
Real life is like a kick in the nuts
The truth is you will never find a hot girl,
if you do, chances are she wont think you're good company
Neither will you find great adventure in your
boring hum-drum 9-15 a day, 7days a week, 365-weekends year.
Nor will there be a chance for you to demonstrate your inner chivalrous nature
that is if you even have one.
A happy ending, I guess thats what we have to see it be.
With that said,
"Wow theres so much in store for me, yeah I'm just going to hit the sack, wake up tomorrow where new opportunities await."
Mostly, I'm just wishing that my dreams(sweet) would never have to come to an end.
