I wanted to get a taste of the highly acclaimed "Fancy Formosa Oolong tea" from The Coffee Bean and the Tea Leaf
For an avid pokka green tea drinker like me, it did sound tantalising. Sad to say, the 6th avenue branch had no stock. I decided to settle for the daily brew - Sumatra dark double roasted. I should say it wasn't that bad. The flavour was full, the smell strong and the aftertaste incredible. Have I become a coffee addict?
Most People go for the chillinos and the ice blended, but I prefer coffee to be taken at warmer temperatures mostly because it's chilled counterparts have lost their rich aroma and taste through the intensive sweeteners as well as crushed ice. Nothing like a cuppa hot coffee to start your day. The bagels are nice too! For S$4.50 a set, I should say it is better than a mac breakfast. Much better.
